CUISINE

PRESIDENT: George Maxwell Richards




George Maxwell Richards (born in 1931 in San Fernando, Trinidad y Tobago) is the fourth president. Richards is a chemical engineer. He worked at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad (University of the West Indies, in English) in 1996. The March 17, 2003 was elected president of Trinidad and Tobago, for a term of five years. Richards is the first head of state in the Anglophone Caribbean Amerindian is ascending.


NICKI MINAJ


She is an American rapper, songwriter, singer and dancer originally hailing from Trinidad. She is famous for her unique rapping style, apart from the fact that she is one of the very few female rappers in the industry. She shot to fame with her debut album ‘Pink Friday’ (2010).
She was born as Onika Tanya Maraj on December 8, 1982 in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago. Her parents are Carol and Robert Maraj; her mother was a gospel singer. Nicki Minaj has two siblings, brothers Makiya and Jelani. She was raised by her mother in Queens, New York, after her father went through serious alcohol problems.
As a student, Minaj was interested in music and the performing arts. She played the clarinet and participated in drama programs. She dreamed of becoming an actress, and also took acting classes, but she did not get any major chances to pursue acting. After switching from one job to another, and being fired from waiting jobs, Minaj ended up as a rapper on a group called ‘Hoodstars’.

It is also popular in Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Jamaica and the Archipelago of San Andres and Providencia in Colombia, and northern Brazil, mainly in the state of Pará.


LANGUAGE
